Trying to trim everything I own down to one carload is every bit as daunting as it sounds. I’m off to Miami tomorrow (ORANGE BOWL!), and I have one full day in Lawrence after that before I drive out to LA. All that to say, I probably won’t have time to compile the stats for our group before I go. I will definitely get it done at some point. Just from reading through the posts and emails there are a lot more of us than I realized, and it seems we make up a pretty solid chunk of the top 100.
patlee, I think you’re definitely on to something. Surely out of that top 100 there are a handful that aren’t eligible for whatever reason. I remember we had 2 or 3 of you guys right on the wrong side of the cut off, so hopefully you’ll have some good news coming. We’re all rooting for you.
Since I don’t have any sort of thank you page set up or anything, I want to give a special thanks to Andre (Crunch Bunch) and Richard (what is your team name anyway?) for their generous donations. I appreciate it!
One last time, head over to fantasyfishing.com and use league id: 10011 and password: jibjab. There’s already some good discussion going on over there it looks like. Alright, that’s all I’ve got for now. I’ll be on at some point to post the total winnings for our group, and I’ll also be sure to hop on once I’m out in LA to let you guys know how things are going with the new job.

Late checking in, but I finished in 17th in the $100K league. Lots of ways I could have moved up, but likely the same for everyone ahead of me as well. Certainly no need to complain. Congrats to all.

I think I will be fishing with all of you. It was great having this site to bounce ideas and learn a lot. I am sorry I kind of dropped off, but life started catching up. It was the same for me across the board on fantasy. I ended up with a lot of 3rd and 4th places when I could have won paying attention.
I will be checking in from time to time, now I am off to do my fishing research

Wow…we’re up to around 25 people in the fishing league already!
Justin – Why don’t you see if RH wants to do some cross-marketing and offer some small prize (like free entry to a $100 RH baseball league?) to whoever wins the ‘Rotohog Fantasy Fishing League’?

Hey Alex…based on your comments about your fishing ventures in Westchester, I decided to join. However based on my knowledge, I might have a better chance catching a fish off the prestine waters of City Island than winning anything in this pool.

Hey Guys
We are up to 10 for fantasy football, playoffs start Saturday, so get your lineups ready. In this format I think it helps to be able to pick winners, guys you can use more than one week, but who knows, good luck and hope to see some more of you over there.

don’t know if anyone will post here. ,but Anyone else thinks the jags have a good chance to beat the pats this week.
14. Richard replies at 7th January 2008, 12:02 pm :
nyimets, I think that the Jags have a chance… IF they play inspired like they did vs. Pittsburg.
Looks like you could have done better over there at Sporting News.

Another late check in… I dropped like a rock toward the end of the year and finished #20 (a far cry from the #2 spot I was so excited about earlier in the season). Oh well, I really can’t complain. The season was a ton of fun and some money is better than no money. Thanks jibab for the great site (I always visited 4 or 5 times a week) and to everyone else for consistently commenting on the postings. See you in baseball season!

Just got my prize money forms to fill out by e-mail last night, so apparently they are done verifying the results (my prize amount was printed on the top of one of the forms).
17. Rick Schwab replies at 11th January 2008, 8:17 pm :
Mike, I just opened my forms and I didn’t see any prize amount. Are these forms the ones with the all the questions about who we are?
18. MikeJ replies at 14th January 2008, 8:16 am :
Rick,
I saw my prize amount on the legal release form about how you were a good boy and didn’t cheat, will allow them to use your profile in advertising, etc.
