So… now what?
I stayed up last night to see the new standings. 6th was a disappointment, but it’s definitely hard to complain about. I think I was 5 points away from 5k or something like that. I also feel for the few of you that finished just a hair outside the top 100. Despite all that, I’m thrilled with how well everyone did. I know that if it weren’t for all of you guys I couldn’t possibly have done as well, and it’s great to see how much success we had as a group.
Anyway, thanks for a great season guys. I look forward to seeing you all on the fishing board. Also, as I mentioned before I may be trying to work in some off season research and discussion on this board, so that we can keep that leg up on the rest.
If you haven’t already posted your final standing, go ahead and let us all know. I’m going to start compiling that stuff and will give the final numbers (as best as I can estimate them) tonight or tomorrow.

Finished 94th in the MFL, which was the only league I joined. It was fun getting back into fantasy football after not playing it for about 15 years. Enjoyed all the people and posts at jibjab’s cool site. I know I should probably try the fishing thing, but I may decide to take a break from fantasy the next couple months instead. After the long baseball season and then football, I am kind of burned out. Cheers to all who made this a great place to be, and props to jibjab for his site.

Had an interesting thought this morning. If I finished 101 and Paul Greco was in top 100, is he really eligible??? Does that bump me up to prize money? What about if there are players from states that aren’t eligible for prizes?? Is there a glimmer of hope I could get a check? I don’t like backing into the winnings if this is the case, but a few bucks is a few bucks.

57th overall despite not hearing about the game until Sunday morning of the first week and just throwing a roster together quickly. Thanks for everyones thoughts and ideas throughout the season.

As Crunch Bunch, finished 7th in MFL and 1st in the Jackpot league (just glad/lucky that none of the teams ahead of me entered that one). Also to correct original Alex’s post, I finished 13th in the BB league, not 11th so I wasn’t quite the bubble boy there but close!
I’m sort of burned out too – have barely lifted a finger in the NBA contest although the weaker prizes might have something to do with it also. Hopefully, I’ll be jazzed for baseball again but it just seems like it’ll be a lot of work and it’s hard to imagine that I’ll be as lucky in 2008 as I was in 2007 with Rotohog.
These chances don’t come along too often to win these things – many of you play online poker and if you play the big online tourneys with lots of participants, it can be a long stretch between final tables or winning a tourney.
