I’ve noticed a fair amount of people checking in on the site, so I figured I should update everyone.

FantasyWorld (my day job) has been very busy. Our game starts in Week 2 meaning our sign ups end tomorrow morning meaning it’s been taking up virtually all of my time.

The important stuff:
- I haven’t calculated the standings from Week 1 yet, and Week 2 may be delayed a bit as well. The important thing is that I do have all the data stored, so it’s just a matter of finding the time to calculate everything.
- I won’t be doing my own projections during the first four weeks. When the contest begins in Week 5 I should have some more free time and will begin the projections then.

I know some projects similar to this one have been started and then bailed on, and I assure you that is not going to happen here.

Getting things set up to do the weekly projection comparisons is taking up quite a bit of my time right now. Once that’s smoothed out you’ll start to see a lot more fantasy content in here.

My final Week 1 projections are posted to the “Current Projections” page at the top. You can also download the Excel version: Week 1 NFL Projections

The initial batch of my Week 1 projections were updated about 15 minutes ago. Check the “Current Projections” tab at the top of the page to access them. I’ll be improving the formatting on that page for next week, but Week 1 is always a scramble just to get things posted.

Here are the projections in Excel for those who prefer to download them: Week 1 NFL Projections

(WP)shatterbulbThis post represents what I believe to be the first step in a revolution in fantasy football analysis. I believe the industry has gone stale. There are new developments every year, but the bulk of the man hours are spent rehashing the same style of analysis that’s been done for literally decades now. Even worse, there’s an absence of accountability. Which site had the most accurate projections last year? You don’t know, and neither do I.
